1. Required Documents

If you are hiring a room for beauty treatments, therapy, or any professional services, please ensure the following documents are emailed to info@callistostyle.co.uk at least 24 hours before your first booking:

• Proof of Professional Certification relevant to the service you will be performing.

• Proof of Liability Insurance (including Policy number).

• ​

Please note: These documents are not required if you are renting the room for general office space.

Ensure these documents are up-to-date. If any document expires, please provide a new copy.

2. General Terms

​

• Purpose of Use: The therapy room can only be used for the purposes specified at the time of booking.

• No Sub-letting: The renter shall not sub-let or share possession of the room.

3. Fees and Payment

​

• Fees: £15.00 for the first hour, plus £8 per hour thereafter. Additional costs may apply for other services (e.g., storage).

• Payment: All fees must be paid in advance. For long-term rentals, monthly fees can be paid by BACS.

• Fee Increases: Charges may be increased with at least one month’s notice.

4. Cancellation Policy

• If the renter cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice in writing, full fees will be forfeited. 

• If sufficient notice is given, fees may be refunded minus an administration fee.

• We reserve the right to cancel without notice if the premises are unfit or unavailable. The renter will only be entitled to a refund of the hiring fee.

5. Use of Premises

• Compliance: Renters must act in line with the salon’s eco-friendly ethos.

• Security: Security is paramount. Renters must follow the risk protection procedures set by Callisto Style.

• No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

• Postponements: We reserve the right to postpone a letting if needed for our purposes or due to unforeseen circumstances.

• Non-Exclusivity: Booking does not ensure exclusivity, though we will try to prevent disturbances.

6. Renter’s Responsibilities

• Behaviour: The renter is responsible for the premises and the behaviour of all persons connected with the hire.

• Safety: Ensure the safety of all persons using the premises.

• No Nuisance: Prevent any nuisance or annoyance to others.

• Damage: Prevent damage to the premises.

• The renter will be liable for any damage caused and must pay for repairs.

• Regulations: Obtain necessary consents and comply with all relevant regulations (e.g., copyright, health and safety).

• Insurance: Provide evidence of liability insurance with a minimum coverage of £1 million.

• Alterations: Do not move, alter, or add to any furniture, equipment, or systems without prior agreement from the salon owner.

• Cleaning: Ensure the facilities are returned to their original condition. A charge will be applied for cleaning if left untidy.

• Undesirable Persons: Ensure no undesirable persons enter or remain on the premises.

• Obstructions: Do not obstruct exit doors or corridors.

7. Damage or Loss Arising from Hire

The renter will cover the cost of any damage caused during the hire period, except for damage caused by the salon or its employees.
The renter will be notified of any damage and may inspect it if reasonable.
We will not be responsible for safekeeping any property left on the premises.
We will not be responsible for any loss or damage during the hire period, except for those we are legally liable for.

8. Policy Amendments

Callisto Style reserves the right to amend this policy without prior agreement with the renter. Any changes will be communicated within one month of the amendment.

Acceptance of Terms

By renting the therapy room, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in the termination of your rental agreement and forfeiture of fees.
